Position Announcement # DEL 06-27

TITLE: CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER - Delaware NIA PROGRAM
The Delaware NIA Treatment Foster Care Program is seeking a Social Worker to: conduct psychosocial assessments of children and youth referred for placement; coordinate the treatment planning and review process for each child or youth assigned to the care team; provide support to therapeutic foster families, provide individual and family therapy; perform other duties to meet the general responsibilities of the Social Worker position. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master‘s degree in social work from an accredited college or university;

  • Minimum requirements License Certified Social Worker-Clinical in Delaware within one year of employment;

  • Three years post-master’s experience in providing services to at-risk children, youth or families or to abused and neglected youth, required.

  • Similar experience gained prior to Master’s may be considered;

  • Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for working collaboratively; 

  • Strong administrative, verbal and written communication skills 

  • Must have reliable transportation.

TITLE: EXECUTIVE ASSITANT - PAOPS
Progressive Life Center seeks a self-motivated, exceptionally organized individual to perform a variety of administrative duties; produce reports, proposals, memoranda and other executive level correspondence as necessary.  The ability to interact with a diverse staff and executives internally and externally.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

Provide day to day administrative support in the functional areas of the human resources department.  Process and maintain highly confidential information and assist in conducting company orientations.  General knowledge of commonly used HR concepts, practices, and procedures.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years experience or equivalent education and experience.

  • Ability to function responsibly and effective with a high degree of discretion, initiative and with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment while prioritizing assignments and meeting deadlines

  • Ability to track and maintain various database to include staff training/ time off

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Strong organizational skills. 

  • Computer software experience using databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.

TITLE: ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR - DC NIA
The DC NIA Specialized Foster Care Program seeks a qualified individual to provide clinical assessments and coordinate the child placements as the initial point of contact in the admission process of children into the DC NIA Foster Care program.  Working knowledge of local child welfare regulations and practices are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s  degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university;  LGSW, LISCW;

  • Minimum of four years experience in completing clinical assessments with demonstrated skill in use of DSM~IV;

  • Two years experience in providing individual, group and or family treatment to at-risk children, youth and/or families;

  • Knowledge of local child welfare regulations essential;

  • Evidence of clinical writing and case documentation skills;

  • Demonstrated ability to utilize collaborative and/or team approaches and;

  • Valid driver license.
