 Progressive
Life Center (PLC) has been providing Family Preservation Services in
Montgomery County since June 2005. The ultimate goal of the program is to minimize the
risk of children being removed from their family and home.
Intensive, in-home services are provided to build upon existing
family strengths, minimize family crisis, stabilize the family unit,
and keep the family in tact. Counselors work up close and personal
with families to identify strengths and needs, and develop plans of
care specifically tailored for the family. Families are involved in
all aspects of treatment and intervention.
Family
preservation incorporates the Homebuilders Service Delivery Model
with NTU Service Delivery Model. Family Preservation Services
include, but are not limited to:
