Philadelphia Treatment Foster Care Program

The Philadelphia Treatment Foster Care Program provides a broad range of services in child placement and case management for children from birth to twenty years old. Our primary goal is to remove all barriers to family reunification by instituting parent counseling, case work referrals and supervised visitation.

Performance Based Contract

PBC is a contract change from foster care services by DHS. DHS goal is to increase the permanency and stability expectations by provider agencies, in exchange for increasing the resources and flexibility given to them to meet permanency goals.

Delaware County General Foster Care Program

Children who reside in general foster care are typically removed from the home due to neglect and/or abuse. These children may exemplify mild traits of depression, mood and / or mood disorder that can be controlled by medications. These clients may also become withdrawn. However, these clients are able to flourish when given adequate care and proper guidance.

Parent's Progressing With Life

Parents’ Progressing with Life is designed to assist parents in increasing their knowledge of parenting. The curriculum is intended to build a stronger family base and improving knowledge of child hood development and interaction, between the care giver, bio parents and the child.

Recruitment and Training

We screen, select, and train our foster families carefully. We recruit our foster families through community outreach, marketing and advertising, and word of mouth. Each member of the household goes through an intensive screening and then through a comprehensive training process. All our parents are thoroughly informed about the potential needs of the children we place with them. Each therapeutic foster care home has 24-hour support from a team of professionals trained to offer crisis interventions, in-home family therapy, scheduled and unscheduled respite care, on going parent training and multi family retreats.
